Josh has threaded the line between wellbeing and the corporate world for many years and as such has deep insights into how stress manifests in the modern workforce and beyond!
A desire to go deeper in his own practice whilst also building the skills to support others led him to train as a teacher of clinically validated, 8-week MBSR courses (which are now even recognised as a treatment pathway by the NHS!).
More recently, Josh trained as a breathwork facilitator with Just Breathe and has subsequently joined as a member of the training team, aiming to bring accessible teachings to as many as possible.
Josh is also an Advanced Oxygen Advantage Instructor; a methodology specifically focused on understanding and optimising respiratory physiology. It's very popular with athletes but can also have huge impact in day-to-day life and sleep.
Josh's main areas of expertise are:
Meditations to suit the mind; bringing knowledge from both eastern buddhist practices and western flavours of mindfulness to meet you where you're at
Breathwork for stress management and nervous system regulation
Using meditation as a tool to help us change patterns of unwanted behaviour
Corporate workshops on breathwork or meditation
Breathwork for athletes (mostly experienced with runners)

”The mindfulness sessions I’ve attended with Josh have completely changed how I perceive the world around me. In the past, when I walked the dog or worked in the yard, I was focused on simply completing the task at hand. If my mind wandered, it went to the next thing on my to do list creating a vicious cycle of stress. One of the things Josh’s teachings helped me with is being present in the moment. Instead of tuning out my surroundings — the feel of the sun on my skin, the sound of my neighbours kids playing in the pool, the new for sale sign a few houses down — I embraced them. As a result, my “chores” became more enjoyable and I became more curious about the everyday happenings of my own neighbourhood.”
